How to Use:

1. Apply sticks directly to paper or canvas using light strokes for soft tints or firm pressure for rich, opaque coverage.

2. Blend adjacent hues using a paper stump, blending tortillon, or fingertip to achieve smooth gradients and fine color transitions.

3. Sculpt thick layers with a palette knife for physical impasto relief, or scratch into upper color layers to reveal contrasting colors underneath in sgraffito style.

4. Dip a bristle brush in odorless mineral spirits or artist baby oil to soften pastel strokes into fluid, painterly underpaintings.

5. Return sticks to their organized tray slots after each session, and protect completed artworks behind glass or with an oil-pastel-safe fixative spray.

Quality Assurance:

Mont Marte Extra Soft Oil Pastels are produced under strict artistic manufacturing standards to ensure uniform buttery softness, balanced pigment ratios, and dependable blending performance across all 72 sticks in the collection.
