How to Use:

1. Apply sticks directly to paper or canvas with light strokes for delicate washes or firm pressure for opaque coverage.

2. Blend adjacent earth tones using a tortillon, blending stump, or fingertip to achieve smooth transitions and realistic anatomical gradients.

3. Apply thick layers and sculpt with a palette knife for physical impasto relief, or scratch into upper layers to create fine hair, foliage, or bark textures (sgraffito).

4. Dampen a bristle brush with odorless mineral spirits or artist baby oil to soften strokes into painterly underpaintings.

5. Return pastels to their designated box slots after each session, and display completed artwork under glass or seal with a compatible fixative spray.

Quality Assurance:

Mont Marte Extra Soft Oil Pastels are produced under strict artistic manufacturing standards to ensure uniform buttery softness, balanced pigment ratios, and dependable blending performance across all 26 natural hues.
